Google & Mitti Labs partner to eliminate Methane and scale climate-smart AG practices across India's rice fields

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India]/ San Francisco [US], September 11: Deep-tech company Mitti Labs today announced a major five-year carbon credit agreement with Google to scale climate-smart agriculture across 100,000 hectares of smallholder rice farms in India. The announcement follows Mitti Labs' recent funding round showing an increase in momentum for using agriculture as a climate solution. In the largest rice methane offtake to date, Mitti Labs will deliver one million high-integrity credits to Google by 2030.
