Hanoi [Vietnam], October 9: In the program 'Artist's Life', Ho Trung Dung shared his thoughts on how an artist finds their own path amidst the ever-changing music market.
Back in late 2015, Ho Trung Dung released his studio album titled "Alive ," featuring 11 songs he composed himself, telling the story of life, love, and courageous choices amidst life's ups and downs. Notably, he chose cassette tapes, a format seemingly outdated in the digital age, for that product.

Sharing his reasons for this decision, the singer said he likes things that go against the grain and prefers physical products. With the album Alive , the cassette is not just a way to distribute the album, but also offers listeners a more special experience of owning a musical product.
According to Ho Trung Dung, the recent resurgence of cassette tapes has been quiet but powerful. As digital platforms develop, listeners are increasingly seeking products that are personal and offer a special feeling of ownership. The singer believes that the development of digital music doesn't necessarily mean the disappearance of older formats. On the contrary, this development can lead to the rediscovery of once-familiar values, making them appealing in a different way.
Speaking about how to position himself in a music market with many new trends, Ho Trung Dung believes that each artist and audience member has a different perspective. "Not every relationship between an artist and an audience should be viewed through the same lens," Ho Trung Dung shared.
