As the U.S. Congress moves closer to ending the federal government shutdown, some employees in Hyattsville, Maryland, were still turning to community food banks to get by on Tuesday (November 11). Workers were required to show federal identification before filling wagons with bread, poultry, cookies and fresh produce, including kale, spinach and beets brought in by No Limit Outreach Ministries and the Capital Area Food Bank.
