Goa Tourism launches new helipad service and helpline number in Panaji

Panaji (Goa), Feb 04 (ANI): Department of Tourism, Government of Goa on February 04 has launched a new Helipad and tourism helpline service in Goa. The launch was done in the presence of State Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte. The Union Ministry of Tourism’s Swadesh Darshan Scheme has contributed vitally to execution of this project. The helipad at Dauji-Ella, Old Goa in partnership with Soaring Aerospace Private Limited, Goa Tourism. This new 10-minute helicopter joyride initiative comes as a delightful panoramic aerial view to the tourism, costing INR 8,000 inclusive of GST per person for famous sightseeing. Additionally, Tourists can dial the helpline number 1364 within the state of Goa. The service will be available for five rides between 11:00 a.m. and noon and between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The helpline will be available in English, Hindi, and Marathi and will offer 24-hour service. These services are being introduced to meet tourists’ interests and will help amplify tourism in Goa, as well as make sure the tourists also get a safe yet joyous experience during their stay in Goa.
