Hanoi [Vietnam], April 22: In a conversation with us, Tuong Vi had the opportunity to share about her current life. The actress, born in the 1980s, said that she is satisfied with what she has and is always ready to embrace new opportunities in her career.
Tuong Vi was born in 1989 in Ho Chi Minh City. She is a familiar face in film projects such as " Suddenly Wanting to Cry," "My Beloved Catfish," "Love Fee," "Co Tham Returns to the Village," "Roses for the Morning," etc. While she dedicates herself wholeheartedly to acting, the 8X actress's artistic journey sometimes has its "quiet moments." Sharing with Thanh Nien newspaper , "Co Tham" said that she has never left the arts, but is simply waiting for the right opportunities to break through.
"For me, the energy for art has never faded, it's just waiting for the right moment to be expressed. I don't prioritize appearing constantly, but rather whether the project truly suits me. In my profession, I still prioritize quality over quantity, because each role requires serious investment. Even though there are periods of quiet in my career, I see them as time to observe, accumulate experience, and prepare better. Ultimately, the most important thing is whether I'm ready for the role when the opportunity comes," the star of the film Suddenly Wanting to Cry confided.
Witnessing many colleagues making continuous progress, especially in the film industry , Tuong Vi said she felt more joy than pressure. According to the actress, the development of Vietnamese films is a positive sign, and also shows that more and more roles are being given to the right people. The actress from the 80s generation expressed: "Whenever a role is well-received by the audience, I think it's because the actor is truly suited to the character. I'm also waiting for such a role to come to me."
Sharing her criteria for choosing roles, Tuong Vi said the most important factor is "what's so great about the character I'll be portraying." After many years in the profession, she always aims for roles with unique and fresh characteristics instead of repeating old images. Regarding the opinion that her increasingly radiant appearance makes her picky and unwilling to accept unattractive roles, the actress stated that being well-groomed is necessary when appearing in public. However, on screen, the most important factor remains suitability for the character. She affirmed that she is not afraid to change her image, even if it means making herself look less attractive if the role requires it, because the priority is to highlight the character rather than maintaining her own appearance.
Actress Tuong Vi's private life
At 37, actress Tuong Vi, known for her role in "Co Tham Ve Lang," maintains a private lifestyle, prioritizing time for her family. Besides her artistic activities, she is also nurturing business plans, but will implement them at a more opportune time. According to Tuong Vi, she doesn't want to juggle too many things at once, as she currently dedicates most of her time to film. The actress says she prioritizes comfort in life, choosing things that bring her joy to maintain positive energy. For her, life inevitably has its ups and downs, but by maintaining a calm demeanor, she can easily spread positive energy to others.
"I think in life, everyone will have periods of unavoidable hardship. I myself have experienced similar situations; there were times when I felt completely lost, even wondering why things were happening to me and not knowing how to overcome them. But I always remind myself that everything happens for a reason. When I think that way, I feel lighter and try to adapt to the circumstances, because I believe I will eventually overcome them. I prefer to share positive things. For me, what matters isn't what I went through, but how I overcame it," Tuong Vi shared about her past experiences.
Currently, the actress, born in 1989, says she is content with her life. She doesn't view her private life as a "tool" to attract attention or boost her fame, but actively maintains her personal space. Especially in matters of love, she chooses to be discreet and limit sharing, in order to maintain a balance between work and personal life. "I can be open when sharing about my work or life, but I would prefer to keep my love life private. This has been my professional philosophy from the beginning and hasn't changed. People just need to know that I am happy and content right now," Tuong Vi stated.
Keeping her private life discreet has also drawn much attention to the actress's love life. Therefore, Tuong Vi frequently receives questions like: "Do you have a boyfriend yet?", "When are you getting married?"... The 8X beauty expresses gratitude for the love and remembrance she receives from the audience after many years in the profession. However, the actress says she doesn't consider marriage a primary goal in life, but rather "to live happily and 'upgrade' myself every day." "My goal is to live happily, not to get married," Tuong Vi shared.
The actress, originally from Ho Chi Minh City, said that although she hasn't yet found her "other half," her family doesn't put any pressure on her. Speaking about relationships, the actress from " My Beloved Catfish" said: "Regarding relationships, I think when fate brings someone, you should accept it and not force it. Thinking that way makes me feel more at ease."
