'The future of our world' is being written in Indo-Pacific: Biden

Hiroshima [Japan], May 21: US President Joe biden said on Saturday on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Japan that "a great deal of the future of our world is going to be written in the Indo-Pacific."
Biden met with the leaders of India, Australia and Japan, who, together with the United States, make up the Quad Alliance which aims to push back China's influence in the region.
"Our mission remains the same. And that is to advance our vision of a free, open, secure, prosperous Indo-Pacific," Biden said. Biden has put a special focus on the Indo-Pacific in his administration's foreign policy since taking office.
