Oct 08, 2026

Hanoi [Vietnam], October 8: Following the impressive achievements of Phan Hien - Thu Huong and other young talents, Khanh Thi has some concerns for Vietnamese dancesport when competing internationally.
The Vietnamese dancesport team and the People's Police dancesport team have just completed their competition journey in Rome (Italy) with many notable results. Most notably, Phan Hien and Thu Huong achieved a first-ever quarterfinal appearance at the WDSF GrandSlam, ranking 25th out of 101 participating pairs. According to Khanh Thi, this is their best GrandSlam performance to date, and also a remarkable result for Southeast Asian dancesport in this category.
Another pair, Ngoc An and To Uyen, also showed positive progress, finishing 52nd, demonstrating the growing maturity and international competitiveness of Vietnamese athletes. Notably, in the Latin women's singles event, Nguyen Hoang Ngoc continued to impress with a silver medal at the WDSF World Championship Solo Female Under 21 Latin. She also won another silver medal in the Adult open category.
