'Spider-Man' Tom Holland confirms he has married Zendaya

Jun 18, 2026

New York [US], June 18: After months of speculation among fans worldwide, British actor Tom Holland officially admitted that he and Zendaya had secretly held a wedding ceremony, officially becoming husband and wife.
According to Variety , in his latest interview with Esquire magazine , when asked about the series of AI-generated wedding photos that went viral on social media platforms in March of this year, the actor who plays Peter Parker laughed and shared a hilarious situation that happened in his own family. These cleverly faked photos caused his grandmother great distress. She immediately contacted her grandson to question him, feeling left out and not invited to his wedding.
Interestingly, when reporters pressed him on whether Tom Holland needed to call or explain anything to other family members, the actor replied, "It wasn't necessary, because they were all at the actual wedding."
Tom Holland opens up about his partner.
According to People , despite resolutely keeping details of the big day private to protect their privacy, the British actor made no secret of his happiness when talking about Zendaya . He repeatedly used terms like "life partner" and "best friend" to describe his significant other.
Tom Holland revealed: "The entertainment industry can sometimes be incredibly stressful. Therefore, having a strong support system, a relationship that can withstand the test of time, is the best thing for me. I've found my soulmate. She's my best friend, and I'm happiest when I'm with her. Until now, I've never felt so supported and secure in my life."
Tom Holland's confirmation essentially clarified the widespread speculation that had been circulating since the beginning of the year. In March, at the 2026 Actor Awards, Zendaya's longtime stylist, Law Roach, told Access Hollywood in an interview: "The wedding happened. You missed it. It's absolutely true." At that time, fans also noticed Zendaya frequently wearing a plain gold ring on her ring finger. However, when she appeared on the cover of ELLE magazine shortly afterward, the actress cleverly denied the rumors with a brief response: "No, I wouldn't do that."
In an old interview with The Hollywood Reporter , Tom Holland clearly stated: "Our relationship is something we both protect and want to keep as sacred as possible. We don't think we owe anyone an explanation; it's our private matter and has nothing to do with either of our careers." Now, after officially confirming their marriage, the couple is predicted to have a breakout year as they reunite on the big screen in two major film projects releasing in the same year: Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey.
