Nairobi [Kenya], May 10: Chinese heavy-duty truckmaker Sinotruk has launched its Howo Max model in Kenya, appointing local motor dealer Printan as its official distributor.
Hossein Goudarzi, chief executive officer of Printan, said in a statement issued Friday in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, that the Chinese-made truck sets new benchmarks in power, efficiency and affordability for Africa's commercial transport sector.
"The Chinese brand is built to tackle challenging terrains while maximizing profitability for businesses in construction, cross-border cargo, and supply chain services," Goudarzi said.
The vehicle model is a prime mover model featuring a high-roof cabin with air suspension for long-haul comfort, along with advanced safety features, he said, adding that Printan is committed to offering durable, high-quality, and innovative trucks at competitive prices to meet the demands of long-distance heavy-load transportation.
Specifically engineered for Kenyan roads, the truck model comes with upgraded features and delivers exceptional reliability at a significantly lower total cost of ownership compared to others in the market, Goudarzi said.
