New Delhi [India], February 20: Marking one of the most significant spiritual nights of the year, Inneryatra and Shala came together to present Shivoham, an immersive, all-night Mahashivratri gathering that brought together devotees, seekers, and cultural practitioners under one sky. Positioned as one of the largest Mahashivratri celebrations in Delhi, the event created a sacred space for collective chanting, meditation, and conscious celebration across all four Prahars of the night.
A significant highlight of the night was its thoughtfully curated cultural and devotional performances that bridged classical traditions with immersive spiritual expression. Renowned Odissi dancer and yoga artist Aradhana Sarangi offered evocative presentations including Shiva Panchakshara Stotram rooted in Bhakti Bhava, and Yoga Nritya, which explored Shringara and Roudra Rasa through a seamless blend of yogic movement and classical dance. The devotional ensemble Ash Haribol & Gowindas led powerful kirtan fusions and mantra-led sonic journeys, creating moments of deep collective chanting and meditative stillness. Adding to the cultural depth, Space Performing Arts, led by artistic director Raja Anand, presented a compelling Kathakali performance titled Geethopadesham, with Anakha PA as Arjunan and Kalamandalam Syam Das as Krishnan, bringing ritualistic intensity and expressive precision to the sacred night. Nishita Kal Sadhana, considered the most auspicious sadhana of the night, was guided by Hitesh ji, along with the Stotram Stuti and Kirtan, all conducted under his guidance. Together, these performances transformed the celebration into a living tapestry of devotion, art, and spiritual storytelling.
The all-night experience seamlessly blended tradition with contemporary spiritual expression. Devotees engaged in collective mantra japa, immersive kirtans, and meditative practices, while each segment of the program was thoughtfully curated to reflect the evolving energy of the four Prahars, from grounding rituals at dusk to heightened meditative stillness during Nishita Kaal, culminating in a vibrant collective celebration at dawn.

Hitesh ji, Founder of Shala and spiritual content creator explores the depths of spirituality, self-awareness, and conscious living. Through his reflections, music, and storytelling, he inspires others to reconnect and live with the wisdom of Sanatan Dharma. Hitesh ji, who envisioned this all-night celebration, shared, "Shivoham began as a small dream, to bring devotees together under the same sky, chanting, singing, and moving in devotion throughout the night. Partnering with Inneryatra felt natural because our thoughts, grounding, and reverence for Shiva and Sanatana Dharma deeply align. Seeing so many people come together to celebrate Shiva and Shakti with such sincerity was truly fulfilling."
Sanna Sarin, Founder of Inneryatra, reflected on the significance of the gathering, "Shivoham holds deep importance for us. As a devotee myself, it was truly special to partner with Shala on this celebration. Inneryatra as a brand stands for Sanatana Dharma and a lifestyle that supports people on their inner journeys toward the Self. This felt like the right way to experience Mahashivratri, where devotees could chant, celebrate, and immerse themselves in a night of pure devotion. It was incredibly refreshing to witness such a heartfelt community come together."
By bringing together sacred rituals, cultural heritage, and collective spiritual practice, Shivoham redefined how Mahashivratri can be experienced in a modern urban context, not merely as an event, but as a shared spiritual movement rooted in devotion and awareness. As the night transitioned into dawn with a closing aarti and prasad distribution, participants left with a renewed sense of connection, to themselves, to the community, and to the timeless energy of Shiva.
