Russia launched over 2,300 aerial attacks in week: Zelensky

Mar 04, 2025

Kiev [Ukraine], March 4: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for greater military support after a week in which Russia launched more than 2,300 air attacks.
Last week, Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 1,050 drones, almost 1,300 aerial bombs and more than 20 missiles, he wrote on X.
"We want this war to end. But Russia does not, and continues its aerial terror," he wrote. "Those who seek negotiations do not deliberately strike civilians with ballistic missiles. To force Russia to stop its attacks, we need greater collective strength from the world." He called upon allies to provide more air defence systems, support ground troops and provide "effective security guarantees." Ukraine has been defending itself against an all-out Russian invasion for more than three years with Western assistance. There are fears in Ukraine that US aid could dry up completely amid growing tensions between Zelensky and President Donald Trump.
