Having studied vocal music and maintaining his passion for singing alongside his main job, his opening performance received applause from Quyen Linh , Ngoc Lan, and the studio audience.
Introducing himself, Van Tan said he is kind, ambitious, and has good communication skills, but is sometimes a little forgetful. He married a colleague in 2016, but the marriage ended after only a year. They have a daughter, who is almost 9 years old and is currently living alternately with both sets of grandparents. They plan to move abroad to live with her mother next year. Currently, he lives with his parents, focuses on his work, and hopes to find a suitable life partner.
Matched with Van Tan was Cao Thi Huyen (33 years old), a university lecturer also living and working in Dak Lak. She surprised everyone by revealing that she had never been in a relationship in her 33 years. When asked by Ngoc Lan about how a pretty girl like her could never have been in love, Huyen explained that in her youth she focused on her studies, and after starting work, she didn't prioritize relationships. The female lecturer shared that hearing her friends recount different romantic experiences made her somewhat apprehensive, and that was one of the reasons she wasn't keen on dating.
When participating in the program, Cao Thi Huyen hoped to find a mature man with a stable job, who cares about his family and maintains harmonious relationships with both sides of the family. She disliked patriarchal men or those who "make promises but don't keep them." Meanwhile, Van Tan hoped to find someone loyal, with good interpersonal skills and a loving heart.

During the live exchange, Van Tan affirmed that if they were to be together, he would love his partner and family unconditionally, only hoping for fidelity in return.
