QBF announces Amir Cup schedule

Doha [Qatar], April 14: The Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) has announced the complete program for Amir Cup Men's Basketball Championship for 2025-26 season.
The tournament is set to begin on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, with the opening match between Qatar Club and Al Khor at 6:05pm at the Federation Hall.
Matches continue on Saturday, April 18, 2026, with two games at Al Gharafa Hall: Al Ahli vs. Al Wakrah at 6:05 p.m. in a balanced contest, followed by a high-profile clash between Al Sadd and Al Shamal at 8:00 p.m., anticipated to feature intense competition as both sides aim to reach the advanced stages.
On Sunday, April 19, 2026, two more matches will be played at Al Gharafa Hall: Al Gharafa vs. Al Rayyan at 6:05 p.m., a standout fixture given the strength and rivalry of the two teams, followed by Al Arabi vs. the winner of Qatar Club vs. Al Khor at 8:00 p.m., completing the lineup of semifinal contenders.
The semi-finals will take place on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Al Gharafa Hall. The first game at 6:00 p.m. will feature the winner of Al Ahli vs. Al Wakrah against the winner of Al Arabi vs. Qatar Club/Al Khor.
The second game at 8pm will pit the winner of Al Sadd vs. Al Shamal against the winner of Al Gharafa vs. Al Rayyan. The final is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 6:30pm. Al Rayyan had claimed the title the previous season defeating Al Arabi 77-70 in the final held at Al Gharafa Hall.
