Phuong My Chi's dream wedding in the music video

Hanoi [Vietnam], August 14: After a period of focusing on school-themed music, Phuong My Chi made a significant shift with the release of her music video "Heaven with My Lover". In this musical product, the 10X singer "pairs up" with actor Bao Dinh.

Recently, Phuong My Chi marked her comeback with the music video " Heaven with My Lover ." This is another musical project in which the female singer collaborates with music producer DTAP. With the theme of romantic love, Phuong My Chi presented a sweet and culturally rich childhood sweetheart love story of the Khmer ethnic group.
Phuong My Chi stated: "This is also the first time in my artistic journey that I've made romantic love an important part of a musical story. As I've matured, I've realized that love isn't just fleeting feelings, but also understanding, companionship, and the things I'm willing to do for the one I love. Therefore, in this project, I want to express a greater love for Vietnamese culture through a personal love story. The song is not just a story about love, but also a way for me to continue acting for my love of Vietnamese culture, and I hope the audience can feel the affection and respect that I and the entire team have put into this project."
In the lively melody of "Heaven with My Lover," Phuong My Chi presents characteristic dances of the Khmer ethnic group, often performed during important festivals and holidays. In addition, the singer, born in 2003, also portrays the everyday life of this ethnic group through the love story and wedding scene of Chi and Dinh.
Instead of building the emotional arc of love through drama or conflict, the music video guides viewers through the story of the two main characters from their childhood to adulthood.
From a young girl in a village, Chi grew up to become a performing dancer and dance teacher for children. Meanwhile, Dinh chose to study music and craftsmanship, gradually getting closer to the artistic world that Chi pursued. With his skill and love for Southern Khmer musical instruments, he became a craftsman making five-tone musical instruments.

These two advisors have been involved throughout the development of visual and musical ideas, providing advice on patterns, motifs, costumes, dance styles, musical instruments, sounds, and the distinctive features of Southern Khmer life.
