Pakistan reports 70 new COVID-19 cases

Islamabad [Pakistan], May 22: Pakistan reported 70 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total tally to 1,529,711, the country's Ministry of Health said on Saturday.
No more deaths from the pandemic were recorded on Friday, leaving the death toll unchanged at 30,379, showed the ministry's data.
On Friday, 18,773 tests for COVID-19 were conducted in Pakistan while the positivity rate stood at 0.37 percent.
Currently, 71 active cases are in critical condition in the South Asian country.
