Nursing home fire near Paris kills three, injures several: Media reports

Paris [France], February 2: Three people died and several were injured in an early Saturday morning fire at a nursing home near Paris, French media reported.
They were taken to hospital with suspected smoke inhalation. All of the victims were residents of a nursing home in Bouffemont, around 25 kilometres north of Paris. The remaining residents were evacuated, according to the reports.
Initial investigations suggest that the fire broke out in the laundry room on the third floor early in the morning, the television channel BFMTV reported.
At the time of the fire, 75 residents were said to be in the facility. The cause was initially unclear. About a hundred firefighters were mobilized to extinguish the blaze.
