North Korea has new tanks

Seoul [South Korea], March 14: Chairman Kim Jong-un of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea directed a military exercise involving tank units on March 13, according to KCNA Radio on March 14.
At the demonstration, President Kim Jong-un appeared extremely satisfied when a new line of North Korean tanks successfully demonstrated its attack capabilities in the first demonstration.
The military event was designed to test in detail the real combat capabilities of tank groups and allow units to work on combat options in a variety of tactical missions.
Accompanying Chairman Kim were senior officials of the Pyongyang government, including Defense Minister Kang Sun Nam.
In one photo, the leather-clad leader stands on a tank, surrounded by soldiers. Other photos show many tanks carrying the North Korean flag firing simultaneously at the training ground.
President Kim emphasized the need to organize truly serious and in-depth exercises, simulating real war. The content must focus on efforts to strengthen combat capabilities to be able to quickly participate in any combat mission and perform accurately in any situation.
A few days earlier, the North Korean leader also personally directed the artillery drill of the Korean People's Army. The exercise involved units near the border line and had a range of the South Korean capital Seoul .
