More Boeing whistleblowers fired

Washington [US], June 29: According to CNN, in October 2023, Mr. Cuevas filed a complaint with Boeing and presented that Spirit changed the manufacturing and assembly specifications related to drilling holes in the front pressure bulkhead stabilizer of the 787 aircraft , without Boeing 's permission . According to him, that could compromise the aircraft's strength and air pressure. Mr. Cuevas was fired in March of this year after reporting the incident.
In a statement issued on June 26, Boeing said Mr. Cuevas' concerns were thoroughly investigated, and engineering analysis determined that the issues raised did not pose a safety concern and have been resolved. Boeing added that it does not participate in decisions regarding contract employees.
The US Federal Aviation Administration ( FAA ) emphasized: "We strongly encourage anyone with safety concerns to report them and we thoroughly investigate everything." The FAA received a total of 126 reports against Boeing this year and 11 reports last year.
