For the female MC, who rose to fame from the Golden Swallow Awards, simply being able to return home and share a meal with her mother on March 8th is a source of complete happiness.
MC Thu Ha shared that for many years, no matter how busy her work was, she always tried to make time to be with her mother on this special day. Sometimes it was just a small bouquet of flowers or a simple gift, but the most important thing was being together with family. For the female MC, the most memorable memory of March 8th was when she was in middle school, saving up her pocket money to buy her mother a hair clip. "It was a very small gift back then, but just seeing my mother smile made me happy," Thu Ha recalled.
As she grew older and started working, even living far from home for a while, the female MC realized that the simple things with her mother were what she missed the most. Not expensive gifts, but everyday moments like going to get a traditional Vietnamese dress made with her mother, taking her to the hair salon, or simply strolling through the streets together.
According to Thu Ha, these seemingly small things hold a lot of emotion. "I realized that the most meaningful gift for my mother is not material things, but my presence and care," she shared.
In Thu Ha's eyes, her mother is a simple yet strong-willed woman. She's not a businesswoman or a celebrity, but she's someone who both works hard to make a living and takes excellent care of her family. This image has become a great source of inspiration for the female MC on her journey to adulthood.
"My mother always taught me to give the best I can, because kind hearts will eventually touch other kind hearts," she said.
Those seemingly simple teachings became a crucial foundation in how Thu Ha conducts her career. For her, hosting a show is not just about public speaking ability, but also about responsibility and serious preparation.
The female MC said that whether she hosts a large or small program, she always tries to prepare thoroughly and work with the utmost professionalism. "My mother doesn't work in the arts or media, but the values ​​she taught me since I was little have helped me become more confident in my career. To me, my mother is like a 'spiritual benefactor,' someone who always gives me sincere advice whenever I need it," Thu Ha confided.
One of the lessons the female MC always remembers is: "Whatever you do, do it properly." According to Thu Ha, as she stepped out into society and experienced many challenges in her work, she understood the meaning of that saying even more deeply.
"The job of an MC is not simply about speaking. Behind every program is preparation, responsibility to the audience and to one's own profession. When you work with kindness and seriousness, the value of the job can be sustainable," she shared.
