Ho Chi Minh [Vietnam], April 14: Binh Thanh district is collecting people's opinions on the merger of 15 existing wards to 5 wards, named Binh Thanh, Gia Dinh, Binh Hoa, Thanh My Tay and Binh Quoi.
On the morning of April 14, people in Ward 11, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City received a poll on the rearrangement of provincial administrative units, and the merger of wards.
Specifically, Ward 11 will merge with Ward 5 and Ward 13 into a new ward, named Binh Hoa Ward.
Previously, the People's Committee of Binh Thanh district developed 2 merger options from 15 existing wards to 5 wards or 7 wards.
With the plan to have 5 wards, it is expected that 4 wards 1, 2, 7 and 17 will be merged into Gia Dinh ward.
Wards 12, 14 and 26 were merged into Binh Thanh Ward.
Wards 5, 11 and 13 were merged into Binh Hoa ward.
Wards 19, 22 and 25 were merged into Thanh My Tay ward.
Ward 27 and Ward 28 were merged into Binh Quoi ward.
With the plan, there are 7 wards, wards 1, 2 and 17 will be merged into Gia Dinh ward (or Binh Thanh 1).
Wards 5, 7 and 14 of Ward 11 were merged into Binh Hoa Ward (or Binh Thanh 2).
Ward 13 and 8 neighborhoods of Ward 11 were merged into Binh Loi Ward (or Binh Thanh 3).
Wards 12, 14 and 14 of Ward 26 were merged into Binh Thanh Ward (or Binh Thanh 4).
Ward 19 and Ward 22 were merged into Thanh My Tay Ward (Thi Nghe Ward or Binh Thanh 5 Ward).
