Four killed in US strike on suspected drug boat in Caribbean

Mar 27, 2026

New York [US], March 27: Four men were killed on Wednesday in a US military strike on a boat carrying suspected drug smugglers in the Caribbean, the US military said. The US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) said that "four male narco-terrorists" were killed in a "lethal kinetic strike" on a vessel that the US alleges "was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Caribbean and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations."
In recent months, US President Donald Trump has repeatedly ordered attacks on boats in the Caribbean and the eastern Pacific.
