Brazil to continue to top the FIFA rankings

They will retain first place, even though they were beaten 4-2 on penalties by Croatia in the quarter-final. This was reported by ESPN.
As a reminder, for the third time in World Cup history, Argentina took the victory. The Albiceleste were stronger than the French in a hard-fought contest. The main and extra time of the match did not reveal the winners, everything was decided in the penalty shootout. Argentina won it 4-2.
After the World Cup, the national team moved up by one position in the FIFA rankings and is now in second place. The French national team is in third place.
