Belarus to raise minimum subsistence budget by 3.3 pct

Minsk [Belarus], April 26: Belarus will raise the minimum subsistence budget by 3.3 percent on average per capita starting from May 1, 2025, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security said on Friday.
The new minimum subsistence budget on average per capita is set at 462.58 Belarusian rubles (about 138 U.S. dollars), 3.3 percent higher than the minimum subsistence budget which was in effect from Feb. 1, 2025.
The new minimum subsistence budget will be valid until July 31, 2025.
Various allowances and increases that make part of the social security system and certain social payments tied to the minimum subsistence rate have been also revised upwards.
