At least 16 people injured, assailant dead in shooting at Turkish school

Istanbul [Turkey], April 15: At least 16 people, including pupils, were injured after a gunman opened fire inside a high school in south-eastern Turkiye on Tuesday, according to authorities.
The injured - 10 students, four teachers, a police officer, and a canteen operator - were hospitalized after the assailant entered the school in Siverek district of Sanlıurfa province on Tuesday armed with a shotgun, the Turkish Interior Ministry said on platform X.
The attacker, identified as a former student of the school born in 2007, shot himself with the same weapon, according to the ministry
