Argentine striker Caraglio rejoins Mexico's Atlas

Jan 10, 2021

Mexico City (Mexico), January 10: Argentine striker Milton Caraglio has returned to his former club Atlas after parting ways with Mexican rivals Cruz Azul.
The 32-year-old was expected to be available for Atlas's home clash with Monterrey in the opening round of the 2021 Liga MX Clausura season on Saturday night.
Atlas did not reveal details of the contract in a statement on their official website, but local media reported that he agreed to a two-year deal.
Caraglio scored 17 times in 38 appearances for Atlas in his first spell with the club from 2017 to 2018.
The forward's 14-year professional career has included spells with Italy's Pescara as well as Argentine clubs Rosario Central, Arsenal Sarandi, and Velez Sarsfield.
In 2009, Caraglio was called up to Argentina's national squad for a friendly against Panama, but he later withdrew because of a knee injury.
