Hanoi [Vietnam], February 25: A young man who had never been in a relationship appeared on the dating show "You Want to Date?" seeking matchmaking from Quyền Linh. With his sincerity, awkwardness, and warmth, he won the heart of a beautiful girl right on stage.
In episode 1,172 of the show "You Want to Date? " , Truong Minh Tuan (32 years old), a training quality supervisor and coordinator in Ho Chi Minh City, was matched with Le Thi Huyen Linh (27 years old, from Quang Tri), an assistant director for a multinational corporation in Tay Ninh.
Introducing himself, Minh Tuan said he always sets clear goals in his work, lives a cheerful and sociable life, enjoys sports, but is quite reserved. He surprised the two MCs when he confessed that at the age of 32, he had never been in a relationship because he was too focused on his studies and career.
When Minh Tuan came to the show, he hoped to find a girlfriend who was cheerful, energetic, sociable, respectful of feelings, understanding, someone he could be with long-term, and someone who knew how to take care of family life.
Meanwhile, Huyen Linh is a hardworking girl with a modern lifestyle, who loves sports and is fluent in both Chinese and English. She has had two relationships, both lasting only a few months. Huyen Linh's criteria for finding a boyfriend are quite simple: he just needs to be kind, ambitious, and responsible towards his family.
A handwritten letter helps a guy score points on the dating show.
The moment the gate opened, Minh Tuan had prepared a gift: a teddy bear and a handwritten letter for his girlfriend. In the letter, he wrote that he wasn't good at flowery language but was serious about the word "companionship," hoping for a relationship that began with peace. "I don't promise to be perfect, but I promise to be kind in how I listen, share, and even when we disagree," Minh Tuan expressed. These sincere words helped him make a good impression on Huyen Linh.
