Moscow [Russia], September 20: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted 178 km east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia at 1545 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 52.94 degrees north latitude and 161.28 degrees east longitude.
