5.6-magnitude quake hits Izu Islands, Japan - USGS

Bejijng [China], October 4: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted Izu Islands, Japan, at 0013 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 30.02 degrees north latitude and 140.11 degrees east longitude
