13 killed in minibus-truck collision in South Africa's Limpopo

Cape Town [South Africa], February 10: At least 13 people were killed in a road accident involving two vehicles on Saturday in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, local authorities confirmed.
The accident occurred on Saturday morning when a minibus and a bakkie -- a pickup truck in South African English -- collided and caught fire on the R40 road near Hoedspruit in Limpopo, according to a statement by the South African Department of Transport.
Ten occupants of the minibus and three from the bakkie lost their lives. Three other passengers were taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
