Heat raging across Southeast Asia

Phuket [Thailand], April 8: The Thai government is preparing to issue a warning about severe heat in the next few days and advises people to avoid going outdoors due to the risk of heat stroke, according to the Bangkok Post.
The Thai Meteorological Department predicts that high pressure from China will spread to northern Thailand and the East Sea , while east and southeast winds will carry water vapor from the sea deep into the mainland, causing very hot weather. Some areas in Thailand have recorded temperatures of 44.5 degrees Celsius.
In Cambodia, the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology forecasts a heat wave of up to 39 degrees Celsius in many places from April 7 to 9. In Malaysia , authorities are planning to create artificial rain in Sabah to cope with drought, after artificial rain from March 28 to 30.
In the Philippines, thousands of schools had to temporarily suspend in-person classes due to intense heat. According to The Guardian , a historic heat wave is raging across Southeast Asia, including central Myanmar recording temperatures up to 44 degrees Celsius.
