S.Korean president's approval rating stays at 40.2 pct: poll

Seoul (South Korea), September 27: South Korean President Moon Jae-in's approval rating stayed at 40.2 percent last week, a weekly poll showed Monday.
The negative assessment on Moon's conduct of state affairs fell 0.2 percentage points over the week to 55.9 percent last week, according to the Realmeter survey.
Support for Moon's Democratic Party stood at 32.5 percent last week, unchanged from the prior week.
The main conservative opposition People Power Party garnered 40.5 percent of support last week, up 0.5 percentage points from a week earlier.
The minor center-left Open Democratic Party won 6.6 percent of approval score, followed by the minor center-right People's Party with 5.9 percent and the minor progressive Justice Party with 2.7 percent.
The results were based on a survey of 1,506 voters conducted between Thursday to Friday. It had plus and minus 2.5 percentage points in margin of error with a 95 percent confidence level.
